Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support three Montgomery hotels. You will assist the sales team with day-to-day activities, respond to inquiries, and help manage group bookings, events, and corporate accounts.

This is a role for organized, customer-focused professionals who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will prepare proposals, maintain client data in the CRM, schedule meetings, and coordinate with hotel departments to ensure great client experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, hospitality, sales, or administrative roles preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team with day-to-day sales and administrative activities across three hotels.
• Respond to sales inquiries, leads, and client requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist with group bookings, meetings, events, catering opportunities, and corporate accounts.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, correspondence, reports, and other sales materials.
• Maintain accurate client information, sales leads, account details, and activity in the CRM system.
• Assist with scheduling client appointments, property tours, sales calls, and meetings.
• Follow up with clients to help convert leads into business.
• Coordinate with hotel departments for smooth communication and successful events.

Pay Range: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

About the Role

Ascent Hospitality is seeking an organized, energetic, and guest-focused Sales Coordinator to support sales efforts across our Hotels inMontgomery, AL.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hospitality, organization, communication, and building relationships. The Sales Coordinator will work closely with the sales team and hotel leadership to support leads, client communication, sales activities, group bookings, events, and day-to-day sales operations.

What You Will Do

• Support the sales team with day-to-day sales and administrative activities across three hotels.
• Respond to sales inquiries, leads, and client requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with group bookings, meetings, events, catering opportunities, and corporate accounts.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, correspondence, reports, and other sales materials.
• Maintain accurate client information, sales leads, account details, and activity in the sales/CRM system.
• Assist with scheduling client appointments, property tours, sales calls, and meetings.
• Follow up with clients and prospects to help convert leads into business.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure smooth communication and successful group and event experiences.
• Assist with sales presentations, promotional materials, community events, networking activities, and client visits.
• Help maintain organized sales files, calendars, reports, and account information.
• Support the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Represent Ascent Hospitality and our Montgomery hotels professionally with clients and community partners.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous hotel, hospitality, sales, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach.
• Strong follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable communicating with clients, guests, hotel teams, and business partners.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative sales team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with hotel sales or CRM systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Montgomery market is a plus.
• Flexible and willing to assist with occasional hotel events, networking activities, or client functions.
