Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts manages Hotel Per La, a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, planning and directing Restaurant, Room Service, and other F&B outlets to ensure guest satisfaction while meeting financial goals.

The role directs daily operations, leads HR, ensures policy compliance and safety, and drives promotions to grow revenue. On-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of post-high school education.
• Two+ years of full employment in a related position.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures; supervision, management, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods.
• Manage the Human Resources in the various outlets; interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, conduct reviews, resolve problems and discipline as appropriate.
• Implement company programs and manage the operations to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations and local laws to provide quality hospitality.
• Forecast, monitor, control and report on budgets and their components to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
• Respond to customer trends, needs, issues and feedback to ensure a quality experience and increased sales.
• Create and implement promotions, displays and buffet presentations to capture more in-house guests.
• Monitor maintenance and sanitation of outlets to protect assets and ensure quality service.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
