Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts, overseeing the Hotel Per La in downtown Los Angeles, seeks a leader to plan and manage the Restaurant, Room Service and other F&B outlets to achieve guest satisfaction and financial goals.

Responsible for directing daily operations, HR, budgeting, promotions, and compliance with SOPs and safety regulations, while driving revenue growth and maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of post-high school education.
• Two+ years of full employment in a related position.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Supervision, management and communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, marketing plans, security and safety programs, and budget forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods.
• Manage Human Resources in the various outlets: interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel; conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, provide open communications and recommend discipline and termination as appropriate.
• Implement company programs and manage the operations of the Restaurant, Room Service and any other food and beverage outlet to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations and local laws.
• Forecast, monitor, control and report on budgets and components (labor, food, beverage, supplies, equipment) to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate staffing and top service.
• Respond to customer trends and issues to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects.
• Create and implement promotions and buffet presentations to attract more in-house guests and local market share.
• Monitor maintenance and sanitation of outlet areas and equipment to protect assets and ensure quality service.
• Attend regularly and be available to work as required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
