Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Director of Operations for Hotel Per La, a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The role supports the General Manager in managing Rooms and F&B operations and achieving guest satisfaction, financial goals, and owner objectives.

As a member of the Executive Committee, you will lead operational managers, develop budgets and forecasts, ensure brand standards, and drive labor cost controls. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of management experience in hotels, preferably in rooms and F&B.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; adapt to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead all operational managers to succeed on property plans and targets.
• Plan and participate in hotel and departmental meetings.
• Ensure compliance with brand SOPs and policies.
• Develop and manage Rooms/F&B budgets and revenue forecasts.
• Control expenses with labor management and scheduling tools.
• Hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff; handle disciplinary actions when needed.
• Contribute to the Executive Committee to align financial objectives.
