Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Engineer for The Hotel ATL. You will perform routine inspections, carry out repairs, and ensure all systems meet safety and brand standards.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; strong problem solving; and excellent guest service. Prior hotel maintenance experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities management is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Good problem-solving abilities and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Inspect systems regularly to identify issues and perform fixes.
• Respond to engineering service calls and emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and brand standards.
• Interact professionally with guests during maintenance tasks.
