Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners in Atlanta is seeking a results-driven Engineering/Maintenance Manager to oversee preventive maintenance across properties, monitor life safety systems, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

You will recruit and coach the maintenance team, coordinate with contractors, manage budgets, and lead Manager-on-Duty shifts to ensure guest safety and asset protection.

Qualifications

• One to two years of post-high school education; one or two-year certificate program in building maintenance, technology or related field.
• Minimum of five years of building maintenance experience in a leadership role or a related management position.
• Ability to perform critical analysis and manage a wide-range of information; strong planning, coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and supervising maintenance staff.
• Implement and schedule property and equipment preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure safety and compliance with codes; monitor life safety systems.
• Prioritize service requests; coordinate with contractors for outside repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical/building problems and review plans and manuals.
• Recommend and manage departmental budget and capital expenditures.
• Maintain schedules, logs, and documentation for smooth operations.
• Perform Manager-on-Duty shifts as assigned.
