Job summary

Peachtree Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to provide comprehensive maintenance services across the hotel, ensuring equipment and building systems remain in excellent condition.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and timely work orders while maintaining a safe and welcoming guest environment. Collaboration with other departments and adherence to hotel standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and systems run smoothly and the building stays in good condition.
• Inspect electrical systems (air conditioning controls, lighting, TVs) and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Assist with major repairs on hotel equipment including boilers, HVAC, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Service hotel pool and manage chemical levels, filters, and logs.
• Maintain exterior curb appeal through snow removal, lawn care, painting, and trash removal.
• refurbish furniture/fixtures in guest rooms; repaint when needed.
• Respond courteously to guest questions, complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Operate heavy machinery and use hand/power tools to repair/replace defective parts.
