Job summary

Peachtree Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to provide technical and maintenance services across the hotel, ensuring equipment and systems operate in top condition.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect electrical/HVAC systems, and handle routine repairs and refurbishments to maintain guest comfort and safety. This role requires attentive, service-minded professionals and adherence to hotel standards.

Qualifications

• Assists with routine and preventive maintenance to keep hotel systems running smoothly.
• Knowledge of department policies and procedures and ability to enforce them fairly.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
• Assist with maintenance and complete work orders (ceiling tiles, light bulbs, vinyl patching, etc.).
• Check electrical systems including air conditioning controls, televisions, lighting; perform minor repairs.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools; reassemble equipment.
• Service hotel pools and maintain chemical levels and filters; log maintenance requests.
• Maintain exterior and curb appeal (snow removal, lawn care, painting, trash removal, gardening).
• refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms; paint/finish as needed.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Operate heavy machinery as needed and coordinate with other departments.
