Job summary

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of the English language to communicate with guests, associates and vendors.
• Ability to establish and maintain an effective HR function focusing on motivation, training and development and compliance with wage/benefit regulations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, reference, and hire candidates for open positions.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and employment laws; support management in enforcing policies and laws including appropriate discipline.
• Oversee disciplinary actions that may result in suspension or termination.
• Ensure associates receive performance reviews and wage increases.
• Plan and coordinate meetings, gatherings, holidays, and incentive programs.
• Maintain hotel associate personnel files and respond to unemployment, work injury, state disability claims, and wage garnishments.
• Maintain insurance benefits for eligible associates and provide HR-related administrative documentation.
