Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing hotel operations and ensuring top service. The role focuses on maintaining revenue, cost, and quality standards while guiding day-to-day activities across departments.

You will participate in financial planning and ensure adherence to budgets. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or solid hotel experience, strong financial acumen, and the ability to mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or extensive experience in a hotel or related field is required.
• 1–2 years of hotel experience is preferred.
• Strong financial knowledge is required.
• Able to read and interpret financial information with basic math skills.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with brand systems.

Responsibilities

• Acts as assistant to the General Manager in managing hotel operations.
• Oversees day-to-day operations and ensures revenue, cost and quality standards.
• Participates in short-term and long-term financial and operational planning.
• Meets departmental budgets and monitors financial statements.
• Maintains community involvement and handles guest complaints.
• Develops programs to increase guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Mentors staff and ensures consistent leadership and visibility.
