Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or extensive hotel experience required.
• 1–2 years hotel experience preferred.
• Strong financial knowledge and ability to read financial data.
• Basic math and numerical skills required.
• Reading, writing and computer skills necessary.
• Familiarity with brand systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing hotel operations to maintain revenue, cost and quality standards.
• Supervise assigned departments to meet projected revenue and guest satisfaction targets.
• Participate in short- and long-term financial and operational planning for the hotel.
• Monitor budgets and financial statements; stay current on business trends and local activities.
• Address guest complaints professionally and improve guest satisfaction.
• Mentor and direct hotel staff; promote cross-selling of hotel services.
• Maintain visibility and strong leadership within the hotel and community.
