Job summary

Hyatt is seeking an Operations Supervisor - Food & Beverage/Rooms in Durham to oversee Banquets, Restaurants, In-Room Dining, lounges and front desk operations. You will lead staff, implement programs, and drive guest satisfaction through high standards of service.

The role requires strong leadership, hospitality expertise, and the ability to manage payroll, budgets, and health compliance in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of progressive hotel F&B and Rooms experience.
• Service oriented style with professional presentations skills.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Experience with high volume concepts.
• Strong communication and customer service.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Experience implementing new F&B/Rooms concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct Banquets, Restaurants, In-Room Dining, Lounges, Stewarding, Housekeeping, Front desk and related Hyatt operations.
• Implement and maintain F&B sales/marketing programs.
• Direct and develop employees; hire, train, coach and counsel.
• Support payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budgets for F&B operations.
• Coordinate operations with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Resolve customer complaints to maintain a high level of service.
• Maintain Hyatt standards of service and ensure compliance with health regulations.
