Job summary

The Durham Hotel is seeking a Service Manager to oversee daily food and beverage operations across The Coffee Bar, The Roof, and catering venues. You will lead guest service, safety, finances, inventory, and human resources tasks, partnering with the Director of Food & Beverage to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.

Qualified applicants will have at least 1 year of restaurant/bar management and strong leadership skills, with a focus on consistency, brand standards, and team mentorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year restaurant/bar management
• Strong leadership skills and ability to train, coach, develop and motivate others
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism in staff, customers and management
• Ability to work flexible schedule including AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for Coffee Bar, Roof and Events/Catering
• Attend weekly meetings to receive service focus points and discuss upcoming events
• Monitor food quality and guest experience across outlets
• Manage payroll, scheduling, and inventory for your unit
• Enforce food safety policies and health department guidelines
