OTO Development seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead hotel operations at our Wrightsville Beach property. You will coach the team, control costs, and ensure exceptional guest service while maintaining profitability.

The role reports to the Assistant General Manager and requires 3+ years in hotel management, strong financial acumen, and a proven ability to drive operational excellence across departments including front desk, F&B, and housekeeping.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of hotel management experience preferred
• Food and Beverage experience preferred
• You have previous hotel leadership experience with proven success in leading teams
• Ability to coach, train, praise, and discipline employees effectively and consistently
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Extensive financial knowledge and strong business acumen
• Valid driver’s license from the appropriate state
• Drive for results demonstrated through leadership positions
• Action orientation to work efficiently toward objectives
• Strong time management across multiple departments and roles
• Customer focus to deliver satisfaction for the hotel

Responsabilidades

• Coach and support hotel team to manage wages and controllable expenses while maintaining profit margins
• Manage costs within the hotel including supplies, utilities, food & beverage and labor within budgeted parameters
• Ensure service, technical skills and training occur throughout the property
• Oversee housekeeping to ensure cleanliness and functionality of the building
• Review financial reports to understand performance vs budget and develop improvement strategies
• Hire and develop team members and maintain open, fair communication
• Ensure property meets franchise standards and safety procedures
• Be highly visible, engage guests and solicit feedback to improve quality of service
• Observe and provide feedback on service behaviors across teams
• Identify trends from guest feedback and implement solutions
