Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Hotel Manager to assist in managing hotel operations, ensuring efficient and profitable results while maintaining the highest service standards.

In the absence of the General Manager, you will act as GM, oversee departments, develop forecasts and budgets, and work to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction across all outlets with a focus on operational excellence and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years hotel management experience at department head or above.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and brand standards.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts and labor costs.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates.
• Oversee hotel departments to ensure optimal service and hospitality for guests.
• Assist the GM in forecasts, reports and budget development to maximize revenue and control expenses.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and brand standards, aiming to improve satisfaction.
• Resolve customer complaints and anticipate operational issues with proactive solutions.
• Interact with sales staff to discuss and implement strategies to improve occupancy and revenue.
• Monitor front office systems and equipment for peak performance.
• Create action plans to remedy guest service deficiencies.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and rewarding department heads.
• Oversee service quality, efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance and financial metrics.
