HHM Hotels is seeking an Assistant General Manager in New York to supervise hotel operations and lead multiple departments. You will interview, train, and coach associates while ensuring brand standards and the HHM values are upheld.

You will assist in forecasts, budgeting, and revenue optimization to deliver top-quality service. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, safety compliance, and collaboration with sales to boost occupancy and revenue.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of overall hotel operations.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and manage hotel departments and oversee hotel operations as directed.
• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with brand or hotel standards and HHM core values.
• Oversee hotel departments to ensure optimal service and hospitality for guests.
• Assist the GM in forecasts, reports, budget development and monitoring to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and brand standards, and work to improve guest satisfaction.
• Resolve customer complaints and anticipate problems by reviewing operational issues and staff performance.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, house bank audits, petty cash, and tax; coordinate payroll with corporate accounting.
• Oversee internal audits; interact with sales to implement strategies to improve occupancy and revenue.
• Manage front office systems and equipment performance; participate in safety committees.
• Create measurable action plans to address guest service deficiencies; follow safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
