Job summary

Margaritaville Beach Resort South Padre Island is seeking a trusted leader to supervise guest services, F&B and rooms in the General Manager on Duty capacity. This role focuses on guest satisfaction, hotel profitability, and staff development, with responsibility for daily operations, financial oversight, and cross-department coordination.

Responsibilities include maintaining SOPs, overseeing training, ensuring safety and service standards, and participating in revenue generation initiatives

Qualifications

• At least 5 years progressive experience in a Rooms or F&B department Hotel; or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 to 3 years experience in a Rooms or F&B department at a Hotel; or a 2-year college degree and at least 3 to 4 years of experience in a Rooms or F&B department at a Hotel.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Must be proficient in Windows Operating Systems.

Responsibilities

• Approach guests and employees in a attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance per Avion Hospitality standards and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with AVION Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Assist in creating an environment where employees make empowered decisions to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Participate in required MOD coverage as scheduled.
• Oversee departments to ensure smooth hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager.
