Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head Island. You will lead dining operations, support the F&B Manager and Executive Chef, and maintain strong resident relations while ensuring safety and service standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in F&B operations, 1–2 years in supervision, and a passion for the Margaritaville lifestyle. Expect evenings, weekends, and a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive F&B operations experience.
• 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role in a restaurant, club, hotel F&B setting, or lead in similar settings.
• Strong leadership and team development skills; able to manage within budget.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits is beneficial; willingness to work nights and weekends.
• ServSafe and CPR certifications preferred; high standard of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist F&B Manager and Executive Chef in creating a positive team atmosphere.
• Provide leadership to staff and ensure adherence to policies and programs.
• Maintain resident contact and oversee dining service quality and guest experience.
• Supervise dining staff, manage labor and supplies budgets, and implement service standards.
• Help build a strong bar/beverage program reflecting Latitude Margaritaville lifestyle.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and local regulations; handle emergencies per guidelines.
• Assist in hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions for dining staff.
• Oversee inventory control for bar operations and ensure POS functionality.
