Continental Hospitality seeks a dynamic General Manager to lead operations at our South Padre Island property in Texas. You will drive guest experiences, mentor a diverse team, and steer daily operations to deliver exceptional service and revenue growth.

In this fast-paced, seasonal resort environment you will manage budgets and P&L, implement sales and marketing strategies, ensure brand, safety, and policy compliance, and build lasting relationships with guests and local partners.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of General Manager or senior hospitality leadership experience.
• Proven track record in hotel operations, revenue management, and team leadership.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L statements.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest relations skills.
• Experience with property management systems (PMS) and hospitality software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily hotel operations and guest experiences.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and frontline staff.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and P&L to drive revenue and control costs.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to maximise occupancy and RevPAR.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, health & safety, and policies.
• Build relationships with guests, vendors, and the local community.
• Monitor guest feedback and online reviews to improve service.
