Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks an experienced hotel leader to assist in managing daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and profitability across hotel outlets. The role requires steering budget development, labor control, and staff performance in a fast-paced environment.

You will support the General Manager, oversee departments, monitor standards, and drive continuous improvements while maintaining DHM’s renowned service quality and brand integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years hotel management experience at Department Head level or above.
• Full-service hotel experience.
• Ability to create a profitable culture of accountability and build cohesive teams.
• Proven managerial skill for large-scale projects and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to read, communicate, and prepare occupancy reports.
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with hotel systems knowledge.
• Financial management skills including understanding P&L, budgets, forecasting, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform to brand standards and DHM values.
• Oversee hotel departments to ensure top service and hospitality levels.
• Assist the GM with forecasts, reports, budgets, and staffing to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and brand standards, drive improvements.
• Resolve customer complaints and anticipate problems by reviewing operations and staff performance.
• Oversee internal audit standards.
• Collaborate with sales to implement strategies to improve occupancy and revenue.
• Monitor front office systems and equipment for optimum performance.
• Create action plans to remedy guest service deficiencies.
• Assist in recruiting, supervising, training, and evaluating department heads; recognize and reward performance.
• Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance, and financial performance.
