Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management's Springfield property is seeking a seasoned hotel leader to assist in managing daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, and maximize profitability through cost and labor controls.

As acting GM when needed, you will oversee departments, recruit and develop management staff, review forecasts and budgets, and ensure compliant service standards across outlets. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring 4+ years of leadership in a full-service hotel.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hotel management experience at Department Head or above.
• Experience in Full Service Hotels.
• Proven leadership and team-building track record.
• Strong managerial and budgeting skills.
• Excellent English communication, written and spoken.
• Ability to read and produce occupancy reports.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and hotel systems.
• Skilled in understanding P&L, budgets, forecasting and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates.
• Oversee hotel departments to ensure high service levels.
• Assist GM with forecasts, reports, budgets to maximize revenue and control costs.
• Improve guest satisfaction and brand standards.
• Handle customer complaints and operational issues proactively.
• Oversee internal audits and sales collaboration to boost occupancy and revenue.
• Monitor front office systems and equipment for peak performance.
• Develop action plans to address guest service deficiencies.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, supervising, training and evaluating department heads.
