Job summary

Ignite Hotels seeks an Assistant General Manager at our Olympia, WA property. This leadership-in-training role supports the General Manager in daily operations and acts as the on-duty manager when the GM is away.

You’ll lead teams, drive guest satisfaction, and ensure financial performance in line with budgeted goals. Minimum 3–5 years hotel leadership experience, a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management or related field, and strong skills in leadership, training, and communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hotel leadership experience; GM or asst GM experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Support hotel operations to achieve guest satisfaction, revenue, and cost-control goals.
• Provide a work environment that is safe, challenging, and enables staff to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Ensure training is completed and standards followed in every department.
• Assist in daily tasks and ensure departments adhere to current standards.
