Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for Hotel Interurban in Tukwila, WA. You will lead daily operations, collaborate with Front Office, Security, and F&B, and drive service excellence across departments to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or related field and 4+ years of hotel management, with strong PMS/POS and Microsoft Office skills. Competitive salary and benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field required.
• 4+ years of progressive hotel management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of front office, food & beverage, housekeeping, and accounting operations.
• Proficiency in PMS and POS systems, plus Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual operating budget and financial plans; monitor labor costs and guest-consumed items.
• Identify sales opportunities with department heads and drive promotions to boost revenue.
• Ensure credit and financial transactions are processed securely.
• Oversee daily staffing, scheduling, and performance management; provide coaching and conflict resolution.
• Train and educate team members to meet quality, service, and safety standards; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Foster teamwork and clear cross-department communication.
• Manage HR actions such as hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary measures.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation in restaurant and public areas; coordinate with engineering for maintenance.
• Achieve guest satisfaction goals; respond to feedback professionally.
• Analyze guest insights to identify trends and loyalty opportunities.
• Oversee daily operations for Front Desk and Food & Beverage; manage security and inventory.
• Lead health and safety initiatives and ensure team wellbeing.
• Manage revenue generation including rate strategy and promotions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on occupancy and revenue strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.
• Keep records of reservations and communications; adjust rate specials as needed.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when required.
