Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee hotel operations in a dynamic guest-centric environment in Mississippi. You will lead departments, drive revenue strategies, and ensure exceptional service while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management across hotel departments.
• Guest service excellence and issue resolution focus.
• Knowledge of hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance.
• Budgeting, financial analysis, and profitability improvement.
• Strong communication for staff, guests, and stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced hotel setting.
• Hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and disciplining staff.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures.
• Develop departmental sales plans and revenue strategies with Marketing leadership.
• Set hotel goals and develop business/financial plans to meet ownership expectations.
• Manage debt/lease obligations and fiduciary responsibilities for the hotel.
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies and procedures across teams.
• Develop associates for career progression via performance reviews and training.
• Monitor expenses and forecasting to optimize profitability and cost control.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple hotel departments for smooth service.
• Maintain guest relations and promptly address guest needs and feedback.
• Assist GM with budget management, revenue analysis, and profitability improvements.
• Identify and implement measures to improve operations and service quality.
• Provide administrative support to the General Manager and uphold hotel standards.
