Shamin Hotels in Virginia Beach, VA seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily hotel operations, uphold revenue, cost and quality standards, and supervise departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role reports to the General Manager, requires a Bachelor’s degree or hotel experience, and involves budgeting, leadership, and community engagement, with benefits and bi-weekly pay.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or extensive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• 1–2 years of hotel experience is preferred.
• Strong financial knowledge is required.
• Must be able to read, write and perform basic mathematics.

Responsabilidades

• Generates revenue and guest satisfaction through supervision of departments.
• Participates in short and long-term financial and operational planning.
• Meets departmental budgets and monitors financial statements.
• Ensures appropriate handling of guest complaints and service recovery.
• Mentors and directs hotel staff, ensuring leadership presence.
