Job summary

Stonebridge Hospitality Management in Broomfield, CO is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing hotel operations, with emphasis on front-of-house and Food and Beverage. You will help manage daily operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold financial performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3–5 years in hotel management, strong revenue management knowledge, and proficient use of PMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of hotel management experience, front-of-house or rooms division preferred.
• Strong knowledge of revenue management, financial analysis and budgeting.
• Proficiency with property management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage staff and guest interactions.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and adjust strategies.
• Experience in recruitment, staff training, and performance management.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel operations with focus on front-of-house and F&B.
• Manage catering and on-site events.
• Provide market analysis and local event forecasts to Revenue Management to optimize occupancy and rates.
• Support sales by training front office and reservations on rate structures and yield management.
• Train and motivate front desk staff in front office operations and guest service protocols.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and forecast operating expenses and labor costs.
• Adjust controllable expenses based on monthly revenue forecasts to protect margins.
• Administer policies for cash handling, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll in GM’s absence.
• Train staff to deliver guest services in line with company standards and handle guest complaints.
• Manage guest loyalty programs and ensure franchise/company policy compliance.
• Recruit, select and motivate associates; provide leadership and guidance.
• Assist in maintaining the hotel’s physical condition, including maintenance and quality control.
• Collaborate with GM to address operational challenges and develop improvement strategies.
