Job summary

J&P Hospitality/Asset Management is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to standards. This hands-on leadership role may step into frontline positions as needed and requires supervising front desk, housekeeping, custodial, and maintenance teams.

The AGM will monitor finances at the front desk, assist with guest inquiries, inspections, safety compliance, and incident response.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of hotel operations, hospitality, or customer service experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision to front desk, housekeeping, custodial, and maintenance staff.
• Support check-ins, guest inquiries, and front desk operations.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for quality and readiness.
• Monitor cash handling and ensure proper shift closure.
• Lead safety, incident response, and uphold Master Key policies.
