Responsibilities

• Daily supervision: conduct guest room and public space walkthroughs to ensure service and cleanliness.
• Provide one-on-one training to new team members on service and checklist expectations.
• Verify guest service staff deliver friendly service during peak check-in/out and meal periods.
• Foster an environment of happy team members and guests.
• Verify daily room inspections and adherence to cleanliness standards.
• Assist in inventory counts as dictated by General Manager.
• Aid onboarding of new hires and ensure onboarding checklist adherence.
• Support GM in reviewing time clock punches per policy.
• Ensure daily summaries and night audits are completed per policy.
• Sign off and upload daily reports to the MCR storage platform.
• Ensure purchases go through PO process and invoices posted to AP system.
• Oversee brand standards and conduct self-audits; correct as needed.
• Ensure fire and life safety inspections are up to date.
• Escalate service or delivery failures when necessary.
• Verify preventative maintenance tasks are performed and visually checked.
• Monitor adherence to work schedules and adjust shifts weekly.
• Cover open department head positions when needed.
