Job summary

MCR is seeking a General Manager for the TownPlace Suites Harrisburg/Hershey area to lead cleanliness, guest service and daily hotel operations. You will ensure every room is clean, every guest is greeted with a smile, and all checklists are completed on time.

This role emphasizes staff development, adherence to brand standards, safety compliance and accurate reporting. The ideal candidate combines hospitality experience with strong leadership, communication, and the ability to coach teams

• Hospitality and guest service leadership to guests.
• Legal age to serve alcohol at select properties and valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision walks to ensure friendly service, cleanliness and equipment safety.
• Onboard new team members per onboarding checklist.
• Complete Daily Summary and Night Audit processes per policy.
• Prepare and upload daily reports to the MCR storage system.
• Oversee brand standards and conduct self-audits with corrective actions.
• Ensure attire standards: uniforms and nametags; greet guests with a smile.
• Certify that fire and life safety inspections are current.
• Confirm preventive maintenance tasks are performed and inspected.
• Verify staff adherence to work schedules and adjust shifts as needed.
• Foster a learning culture with safety focus; provide training and development.
• Offer coaching with daily feedback.
• Review time clock punches and attendance.
• Process purchase orders and vendor invoices; ensure proper accounting.
• Maintain inventory program and storage cleanliness.
