IHG is seeking a General Manager to oversee day-to-day hotel operations and lead the development and communication of departmental strategies. You will coordinate staffing/human resources actions, ensure staff training, and monitor financial/operational plans across front office, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, security, sales, HR, and purchasing controls.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration or Business Administration, 4–6 years of high-level operations management, and

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of general management experience in high-level operations.
• Must speak fluent English; additional languages preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day operations and assignments of hotel staff; assist the General Manager in developing and communicating departmental strategies and goals.
• Recommend and/or initiate salary, disciplinary, or staffing actions; alert GM of serious issues.
• Ensure staff are trained and have tools/equipment to perform jobs.
• Assist GM in developing and monitoring financial/operational plans; direct Front office, revenue, reservations, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, security, sales, HR, accounting and purchasing controls.
• Develop and manage owner relationships and provide status reports.
• Make recommendations for capital improvements to enhance assets and brand loyalty.
• Interact with guests, owners, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other contacts; handle vendor performance and safety/compliance matters.
