Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a General Manager for a Missouri hotel. You will oversee day-to-day operations, develop departmental strategies, enforce policies, and lead financial and operational plans to achieve company objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration or Business Administration and 4–6 years of general management experience. Fluency in English is required; other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or equivalent; four to six years of general management experience in a high-level operations role.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations and staff; assist GM in developing and communicating departmental strategies and goals.
• Recommend staffing actions in line with company rules and policies; alert GM to serious issues.
• Ensure staff training and proper tools are available to perform duties.
• Develop, implement, and monitor financial and operational plans to support company objectives.
• Coordinate front office, revenue, reservations, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, security, sales, HR, and accounting controls.
• Develop and manage owner relationships and provide regular reports on status and performance.
• Suggest capital improvements to enhance assets and brand loyalty.
• Interact with guests, owners, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other contacts as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
