Job summary

Extended Stay America in San Jose (Airport) is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for keeping property equipment functioning, ensuring guest rooms are in good repair and following the Green Shield Binder procedures.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to guest requests, and coordinate with management and outside vendors as needed. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently and interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and company guidelines and standards.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property equipment to ensure it is functioning and premises are kept in pristine condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs per the Green Shield Binder and company standards.
• Respond to guest requests with timely follow-through and maintain guest room condition and safety.
