Job summary

Extended Stay America in San Jose–Airport is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure property equipment operates and guest rooms are well maintained. You will follow the Green Shield Binder procedures, perform scheduled PMs, and address work orders promptly with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently and interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and standards.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform basic math and measurements for weights, volumes and distances.

Responsibilities

• Maintains property equipment and ensures guest rooms are in good repair.
• Performs repairs listed on work orders promptly and professionally.
• Completes preventative maintenance inspections and follows the Green Shield Binder workflow.
• Responds to guest requests with diligent follow-through and safety compliance.
• Assists with emergencies and coordinates with vendors as directed by management.
