Extended Stay America in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep guest rooms and property in top condition. You will perform preventive maintenance, repair work orders, and assist with cleaning and safety checks to ensure a pristine environment for guests and staff.

The role requires ability to read instructions, follow safety rules, and respond promptly to guest requests. On-site duties include maintaining facilities and coordinating with vendors as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates.
• Work with minimal supervision while performing duties to satisfaction and company standards.
• Respond to guest requests with diligent follow-through per guidelines.
• Perform out-of-room cleaning to keep premises pristine including trash, exterior areas, and snow/ice removal when applicable.
• Complete repairs listed on work orders timely and professionally.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as outlined.
• Follow Green Shield Inspection schedule to accomplish tasks timely.
• Maintain records such as PM deficiencies, inspections, logs, and safety checks.
• Keep maintenance areas organized and secure tools inventory; ensure tools are in good condition.
• Maintain boiler rooms, electric/HVAC/fire rooms; ensure safety equipment is operational.
• Comply with ESA safety and security policies (OSHA/ADA).
• Handle or assist with emergencies at property or sister sites when asked.
• Coordinate with outside vendors as directed by management.
• Assist with cleaning and general hotel areas when needed; maintain cleanliness.
