Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure property equipment functions properly and guest rooms are maintained at high standards. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and cleaning tasks in line with ESA policies.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently and interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and company guidelines and standards.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure property equipment is functioning and guest rooms are maintained in good repair.
• Perform repairs listed on work orders and follow the work order process in the Green Shield Binder.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Maintain organized and clean work area and safeguard maintenance tools.
