Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure hotel equipment is functional and guest rooms are well-maintained. The role involves completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping facilities in pristine condition according to Green Shield Binder standards.

You will respond to guest requests, manage tools, and assist with emergencies while maintaining safety and compliance with ESA policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or similar setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests with diligent follow-through.
• Perform out-of-room cleaning to keep premises pristine.
• Complete repairs listed on work orders in a timely, professional manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs as outlined.
• Maintain organized maintenance areas and tool inventory.
• Ensure fire safety equipment is operational and inspections are current.
• Assist with emergencies and coordinate with management as needed.
