Job summary

Extended Stay America in Memphis is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep property equipment functioning and guest rooms in good repair. You will follow the Green Shield Binder guidelines and work with the management team to meet standards.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to guest requests with prompt-through, and maintain an organized maintenance area with stock of tools, ensuring safety and compliance across the property.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Read and understand safety rules, operating procedures and company standards
• Write routine reports and correspondence
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to interact with guests, associates and vendors
• Assist with resolving guest issues following policies

Responsibilities

• Ensure property equipment is functioning and premises are maintained in pristine condition
• Promote and follow Green Shield Binder guidelines and management instructions
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs
• Respond to guest requests with diligent follow-through
• Maintain organized and clean maintenance area and manage tool inventory
