Job summary

Raines Co is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces, back of house and public areas. You will coordinate with engineers and vendors for specialized work and ensure HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems meet manufacturer specs.

Two years of hotel-related maintenance experience is preferred, with knowledge of door locks and equipment. We offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO and career advancement

Qualifications

• Two years of progressive experience in hotels or maintenance.
• Experience with door lock systems and related tools.
• Experience repairing hotel equipment (laundry, kitchen, etc).
• Experience using Quore or similar hotel maintenance apps.
• Brand standards experience is a plus.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent; certifications as required (HVAC, etc).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to work order policies and procedures.
• Maintain and repair equipment across hotel areas including laundry, kitchen, guestrooms, events spaces, restaurants, offices and public areas.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs.
• Repair HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical fixtures per specs.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Maintain and repair carpets, walls, furniture, and appliances.
• Complete interior and exterior cleaning tasks as needed.
• Follow Preventative Maintenance program and safety procedures.
• Respond to guestroom maintenance requests promptly.
• Inspect life-safety systems and report hazards.
• Assist with daily property tours and inspections.
