Job summary

Raines Co. is hiring a Maintenance Technician to handle general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, back-of-house and front-of-house areas of our hotels.

The role includes coordinating with the Chief Engineer and vendors, and performing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and equipment repairs while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Two years of progressive hotel maintenance experience and knowledge of door lock systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressive experience in hotels, construction, or general maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge and usage of door lock systems and related tools/equipment.
• Laundry room, kitchen equipment and hotel equipment repair experience.
• Experience with brand standards is a plus.
• Current certifications as required by federal/state/local agents (HVAC, pool operation, etc).
• Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all work order policies and procedures.
• Maintain and repair equipment across hotel areas including laundry, kitchen, guestrooms, events spaces, restaurants, offices and public spaces.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer and vendors for professional repairs.
• Repair HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical fixtures to manufacturer specs.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas; manage supplies and inventory.
• Respond to alarms and safety procedures; participate in life-safety inspections.
• Assist in daily property tours and routine maintenance checks.
