Job summary

Raines Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and support areas. The role requires hands-on skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance upkeep in a hospitality setting.

You will follow safety protocols, coordinate with engineers and vendors, and participate in preventative maintenance programs to ensure clean, safe, and fully functional facilities for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressive experience in hotels, construction, general maintenance or related fields preferred.
• Experience with door lock systems and hotel equipment.
• Laundry room, kitchen equipment and overall hotel equipment repair experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all work order policies and procedures.
• Maintain and repair equipment across hotel areas (laundry, kitchen, guestrooms, events, restaurants, offices, public spaces).
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer and vendors for professional repairs.
• Repair HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical fixtures to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper inventory of supplies.
• Report unsafe conditions and follow life-safety checks during inspections.
