Job summary

Raines Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas. You will work closely with the chief engineer and vendors to ensure installations meet standards.

The role requires two years of progressive hotel maintenance experience, knowledge of door lock systems, and familiarity with hotel equipment repair. We offer benefits and a PTO program, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• 2 years of progressive hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with door lock systems and related tools.
• Laundry, kitchen equipment and hotel equipment repair experience.
• Experience using Quore or other maintenance software.
• Brand standards knowledge a plus.
• Current certifications as required for trade requirements (HVAC, Pool Operation, etc).
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all work order policies and procedures.
• Maintain and repair equipment in laundry, kitchen, guestrooms, events areas, restaurants, offices, and public spaces.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer and vendors for repairs requiring professional expertise.
• Repair HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical fixtures to manufacturer specs.
• Report any unsafe conditions immediately.
• Participate in life-safety system inspections to maintain safety standards.
• Follow the Preventative Maintenance program.
• Attend monthly all-employee meetings and fire drills.
• Handle guestroom maintenance requests promptly.
