Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Representative to keep the property running smoothly, with duties spanning repairs, preventive maintenance, and keeping guest areas in top condition.

You’ll organize supplies, follow safety guidelines, and communicate with supervisors; a high school diploma and at least one year of maintenance experience are required, with familiarity in Office and building management tools.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance or repair work.
• High school diploma or related vocational training.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, a building management programme and/or reporting tools like HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, or Inncom.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrics, and preventative maintenance procedures.
• CPO certification is ideal.
• Fitness to stand and bend throughout shifts.
• Strong communication and guest-friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish guest rooms.
• Organize supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day.
• Follow safety guidelines and report incidents or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of indoor and outdoor areas including car park and pool.
• Adhere to preventative maintenance calendar to keep systems efficient.
• Be friendly, assist guests, and communicate with supervisors about supplies.
• Present a neat, professional appearance and be ready for extra duties as needed.
