Job summary

Great Wolf is seeking a Maintenance Technician 1 to oversee daily engineering operations across the lodge, including preventative maintenance, project support, and life-safety tasks. The role involves servicing guestrooms, public spaces, equipment, buildings and grounds while coordinating with vendors and shifts.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, safety compliance, documentation, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Technical degree and related training required.
• Hospitality or healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Trade certifications in HVAC/electrical are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Identify and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and buildings.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical items in guestrooms and public areas.
• Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper equipment use.
• Maintain departmental safety procedures and records.
• Follow SOPs for park operation, timekeeping and safety.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
• Support the Assistant Director of Engineering with other duties.
