Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge in LaGrange, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 to oversee day-to-day engineering operations in a luxury hotel setting when the Assistant Director is unavailable. You will manage projects, safety, staff supervision, scheduling, and vendor coordination, serving as the main engineering point of contact and Duty Engineer.

Qualifications

• Technical Degree and related training.
• Trade-related certifications preferred (HVAC and/or Electrical).
• Hospitality/healthcare industry experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Engineer Supervisor experience; or 3 years as Engineer 2.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, and train engineering staff; plan and direct work.
• Oversee safety and equipment utilization.
• Maintain safety procedures and training requirements.
• Maintain service records for mechanical and structural systems.
• Motivate and lead staff to achieve goals.
• Manage maintenance and water treatment operations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal codes.
• Follow SOPs for park operation, timekeeping, and safety.
