Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge Scottsdale is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 to oversee daily engineering operations in a premium hotel setting when the Assistant Director is unavailable. Responsibilities include project management, safety compliance, staff supervision, and coordinating with vendors.

The role requires a technical degree and relevant certifications, plus experience supervising engineers in hospitality or healthcare facilities. Strong computer skills and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires technical degree and relevant certifications.
• Experience supervising engineers or maintenance staff in a hotel/healthcare setting preferred.
• HVAC and/or electrical knowledge a plus; technical training required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day engineering operations in upscale hotel environment.
• Manage maintenance and water treatment operations; schedule and supervise staff.
• Ensure safety and compliance with local, state, and federal codes (OSHA included).
• Maintain service records for mechanical and structural systems.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; evaluate performance.
• Support Director of Engineering and act as Duty Engineer when needed.
