Job summary

Great Wolf is seeking an Engineer 2 to oversee daily engineering operations at the Traverse City lodge. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain guest rooms and public areas, while coordinating with vendors and ensuring safety practices.

The role includes data recording and adherence to park operation SOPs. Qualified candidates have technical degrees or equivalents, HVAC/electrical trade certifications, and hospitality or healthcare industry experience.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent technical training required.
• Trade-related certifications preferred in HVAC and/or electrical.
• Hospitality/healthcare or related industry experience is a plus.
• Computer skills including basic office software (MS Office).
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment, plumbing, electrical items in guest rooms and public spaces.
• Manage day-to-day engineering operations and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain safety procedures and complete required documentation and records.
• Communicate daily activities and issues to the next shift using approved channels.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and life-safety tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Engineering leadership.
