Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge is seeking a Maintenance Technician 1 to oversee the day-to-day engineering operations of the lodge, including project management, life safety, ordering and vendor coordination. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs throughout guest rooms, public spaces, equipment, buildings and grounds.

Key duties include preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, identifying shut-offs, troubleshooting electrical and plumbing issues, maintaining safety procedures,

Qualifications

• Technical degree or related certification required.
• Experience in hospitality or related industry preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Proficient in basic computer software and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and other guestroom systems.
• Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved systems.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in a timely manner and safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain safety procedures knowledge and attend required trainings.
• Keep service records for mechanical and structural systems.
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly documentation is completed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
