Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure all property equipment is functional and guest rooms are in good repair. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping-related tasks per the Green Shield Binder.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.
• Read, write and speak English proficiently to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to understand safety rules and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests and maintenance issues promptly and professionally.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs as work orders require.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized and manage tools inventory.
• Follow Green Shield Binder schedules and SOPs to meet company standards.
• Assist with cleaning and upkeep of common areas and guest rooms as needed.
