Job summary

J&P Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our property safe, functional, and welcoming for guests and staff. This hands-on role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and groundskeeping, with duties that include responding to service requests and supporting safety protocols.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, basic construction knowledge, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong practical knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Carpentry skills and basic construction knowledge preferred.
• Ability to diagnose issues and reference manuals or schematics as needed.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs to guest rooms, common areas, and facilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues using hand/power tools and testing equipment.
• Inspect and maintain PTAC units, appliances, lighting, locks, and fixtures.
• Complete service requests and report unresolved issues to the General Manager.
