Job summary

J&P Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to help keep guest rooms and common areas safe and functional. The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and groundskeeping, with responsive service requests and adherence to safety standards.

The position reports to the General Manager, is on-site, and requires flexibility for after-hours emergencies and overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous maintenance or facilities experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, and general construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs to guest rooms, common areas, and facility systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance problems and complete repairs using hand tools, power tools, or testing equipment.
• Inspect and maintain PTAC units, appliances, lighting, locks, and basic fixtures.
• Complete service requests and report unresolved issues to the General Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of maintenance workspaces and storage areas.
• Perform exterior maintenance including siding, roof patches, concrete repair, landscape cleanup, and trash removal.
